TESS Engineering was established in May 1979 against the historical backdrop of the first and second oil shocks of the 1970s. As an engineering company specializing in energy efficiency and environmental solutions for plant utilities, we have grown our business over the years, contributing to the continuous development of companies and of society.

On April 27, 2021, TESS Holdings Co., Ltd., our holding company, listed on the First Section (current Prime Market) of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. As the core operating company within the TESS Group, we aim to further hone our specialist capabilities and meet our clients’ energy needs as industry professionals.

The TESS Group considers environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors and compliance as foundational to its management, and it is pursuing business in three areas where social needs are great and significant growth is expected: renewable energy as a main power source, energy efficiency maximization, and intelligent energy infrastructure.

At TESS Engineering, we will continue to focus on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) in the field of energy efficiency and environmental solutions for plants, the operation and maintenance (O&M) business offering facilities maintenance and solutions that incorporate 24-hour monitoring services, and the new energy business for supplying power to customers. Capitalizing on the technological prowess and support capabilities that we have built up through these businesses, we will also actively adopt new technologies for decarbonization, such as those related to hydrogen and storage batteries. Going forward, to meet further increasing decarbonization needs, we will offer a stream of highly unique solutions, including those that combine on-site power purchase agreements (PPAs) for solar power plants with energy efficiency measures.

Meanwhile, the TESS Group is working toward the goal of increasing its own generation capacity of renewable energy to 630 MW or more in the year ending June 30, 2030. The Group will continue to expand its renewable energy generation business, aiming for the utilization of its power plants as sources of carbon-free power in the post feed-in tariff market.

Holding firm in our corporate philosophy of “Customer Focus, Customer Satisfaction,” we will continue to meet our customers’ varied requests by actively taking on challenges in a broad range of business domains with our flexible corporate approach.

I ask for your continued support and encouragement in our endeavors.
